Total Woke dictatorship in Paris

Our team of six members in Paris was recently arrested and arbitrarily detained for nearly half a day because they protested against anti-Christian acts during the Olympics. The bus they were traveling in was surrounded and stopped by armed police officers, who proceeded to arrest, handcuff, search, and lock up our colleagues overnight.

The bus had been circulating in the streets of Paris all day with a message that said, “Stop attacks against Christians!” It attracted attention and praise from many pedestrians and passersby. However, in the evening, the driver was stopped by armed police officers, and shortly after, the team members were taken to a police station for organizing a demonstration without the French government’s approval.

The ridiculousness of the situation was exacerbated by the fact that there was no legal basis for their arrest. Our team always ensures compliance with regulations before large demonstrations and processions. According to French law, a single signboard vehicle cannot be considered a demonstration.

Despite the lack of legal grounds for their detention, our colleagues were treated in a humiliating manner. They were stripped of their basic rights, including access to personal lawyers and communication with family members. Eventually, they were released only after the efforts of CitizenGO’s lawyer.

The French authorities’ actions were seen as politically and ideologically motivated persecution. Our team will not back down and plans to take legal action against President Macron and the French political elite responsible for their arrest and mistreatment. It is essential to continue to defend Christian values in public spaces and show that we cannot be intimidated.

Although the team is now safe and on their way home, we will not let the authorities get away with their actions. This incident must not be repeated. We are living in a time of censorship and fear-mongering, where truth is disregarded, and dissenting voices can easily be silenced.
