The AfD’s top candidate in Thuringia thanked Viktor Orbán for his much-debated peace mission in Western Europe and promised to find a solution to the migration crisis immediately if he wins.
Björn Höcke, the AfD’s lead candidate, expressed his gratitude to Orbán for his peace missions in Moscow, Beijing, and Washington, and criticized the German government’s wartime propaganda, as reported by Die Welt at one of the party’s campaign events.
The politician mentioned at the Thuringian assembly that in the event of an election victory, he would rent deportation planes to repatriate tolerated migrants.
Tino Chrupalla, the AfD’s president, also quoted the Hungarian Prime Minister when he talked about how Germany surrendered after the explosion of the Nord Stream gas pipeline and passively accepted the attack under American pressure. The party leader also pointed out that Russia is part of Europe, so it is inevitable for Germany to have a relationship with it.
