Ukraine stooped low: shocking methods used to discredit Hungary

When it comes to smearing Hungary, Ukraine does not shy away from using secret service tools, according to a Croatian newspaper.

A document containing accusations against Hungary and full of absurdities was compiled by the Ukrainian secret service, as reported by a dubious Croatian portal. According to Nacional, Ukrainian services are peddling a document that makes serious allegations against Hungary to the leaders of the European Union.

Currently, Hungary is being attacked by the President of the European Commission, claiming that Viktor Orbán is deceiving the European Union through a network of companies, bypassing the oil embargo – even though the oil embargo does not affect Hungary, so there is nothing to bypass.

The Croatian newspaper that leaked the story found no evidence to support the Ukrainian concocted story, and even the exclusive document mentioned by the author reveals nothing concrete.

The Croats allegedly obtained the document from a high-ranking energy source, which Ukrainian service members compiled and sent directly to European Union leaders, including the President of the Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

So, Kyiv is not reluctant to use secret service methods and possibly non-existent documents when it comes to discrediting Hungary.

The author of the article repeatedly points out that this is an informal, “non-paper” document, the content of which cannot be verified from other sources, yet there is no evidence to support its existence with any specifics.

Ukraine’s attempts to discredit Hungary and its close relationship with the President of the Commission certainly do not refute the Hungarian government’s theory that Brussels may be behind the Ukrainian decision jeopardizing Hungary’s energy supply.
