The program launched by the Biden administration last year allowed as many migrants to enter the United States as the population of Dallas, Texas. Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of Homeland Security, recently released the July statistical data, which shows that Biden and Harris’ so-called conditional parole pipeline continues to allow tens of thousands of foreign nationals to enter the United States through the southern border and commercial flights, as reported by Breitbart.
Between January 2023 and July 2024, nearly 1.3 million migrants were admitted into American communities through this process. Since the implementation of the program, the government has admitted over 765,000 migrants into the country. The majority of arrivals through the program come from Venezuela, Cuba, Mexico, and Haiti. The app created for this purpose allows migrants to request an appointment at the southern border for their conditional entry into the United States.
The Biden administration recently announced plans to expand the mobile app so that those living in Southern Mexico can also use it to enter the U.S. More than 520,000 Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan nationals entered the United States through the CHNV program with humanitarian conditional parole. Following approval by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), they flew into the United States on commercial flights.
What is the CHNV program? On January 6, 2023, the Biden administration opened a new humanitarian conditional parole program that allows certain Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan (CHNV) nationals to submit applications for entry into the United States for up to two years of temporary stay. At that time, the administration committed to admitting up to 30,000 beneficiaries monthly from the four countries, raising the previous cap on the conditional parole program, exclusively for Venezuelan beneficiaries.
In early August, reports circulated that officials in the department had to temporarily halt the program due to numerous cases of fraud and abuse. Republican congressmen Mark Green, Clay Higgins, and Dan Bishop addressed the Secretary of Homeland Security, requesting detailed documents and information regarding the widespread frauds announced by the office related to the CHNV program.
