🇵🇱 Poland prepares for mass immigration by establishing 49 EU-funded integration centers for migrants‼️
Poland is launching 49 EU-funded foreign integration centers to support migrants with language courses, legal assistance, and adaptation services as the country prepares for a surge in migration under the leadership of Donald Tusk.
The Polish government is establishing 49 Foreigners Integration Centers (CIC) nationwide, aimed at assisting newly arrived migrants in integrating into Polish society, as announced this week by the European Commission.
The centers, designed as “one-stop-shops,” will provide standardized services including language courses, legal assistance, and psychological support, and will handle the large inflow of migration from outside the European Union under the left-wing and liberal coalition government led by former eurocrat Donald Tusk.
Through an initiative led by the Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Policy, marshal offices will establish CICs in collaboration with local institutions working with migrants.
The European Union’s Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund (AMIF) will finance these centers.
Each CIC must include the provincial office responsible for legalizing the residence of migrants and at least one civil organization with experience in serving different migrant groups, the Commission stated.
In a press release, the EU executive outlined the types of assistance available to foreigners, including access to language courses, prevention programs for domestic violence and human trafficking, as well as support for employment and labor rights.
The integration courses offered cover topics such as Polish history, constitutional principles, and cultural heritage to provide migrants with a comprehensive understanding of Polish society.
Immigrants can access the offered services for free until they apply for a long-term EU residence permit, for which a B1-level proficiency in the Polish language is required.
