Germans are telling each other about Hungary – as revealed by the comments under the article in Die Welt.
As Mandiner reported, an interview was conducted with a German retired couple who moved to Hungary by Die Welt. They revealed to the newspaper that they both live a life that they could never have afforded in Germany. The retirees also shared why they chose Hungary.
It didn’t take long for the comment tsunami to arrive.
The commentators under the German article did not mince words when it came to Hungary. “Good post, if only it weren’t so sad for Germany,” articulated one commentator, while another one went so far as to say:

As he added: “What’s interesting is what they tell me about Germany in Hungary. They told me that 5 years ago every Hungarian wanted to go to Germany and Austria, but now despite the wage difference, many want to come back. And that more and more Germans are coming to Hungary now.
