The overwhelming majority of Germans support sending migrants to Brussels – the grumblers have run out of arguments.
As Mandiner reported, the Hungarian government recently presented the buses with which migrants can be sent to the European Union’s capital. The idea also caught the attention of the German media. The Die Welt published several articles about the idea they consider “unacceptable,” but commentators once again corrected the German mainstream media and government.
A commentator named Stephan G. said, “Hungary just doesn’t want to be as stupid as the German government.”
Another user named Karl-Heinz wrote: “I’m sorry, but the Hungarians are simply right. They are simply defending their own country first. And in Hungary, they don’t stab, beat to death, etc. people on the streets constantly…”
Another commentator simply wrote: “Hungary does a lot of things right!”
A reader named Anton B. expressed concern, wondering if when the buses go from Budapest to Brussels through Germany, “will immigrants not get off” at their place.
Hana C. added, “This is a Win-Win situation. The migrants come to a place where ample social benefits await them, and Hungary spares itself from a lot of trouble.”
Another commentator wrote, “Hungary is standing against the EU’s refugee policy. (…) Hopefully, Hungary will stand firm and resist the EU’s autocracy, the self-appointed leader dilettantes.”
A user named Marion T. also did not hold back in relation to the Hungarian Prime Minister: “Orbán is great! I would crown him king of Germany! Wonderful person. Please do this (…) Send every migrant to Brussels (…) Make room for them, they want this migration!”
Another reader would also like to see the Hungarian Prime Minister at the helm of Germany:
Orbán for chancellor!
– wrote a user named Wolf Schmidt.
Of course, there were some Germans who still adhere to carrying out the orders issued, as they believe that Viktor Orbán is a friend of Putin, although they did not elaborate on what the Hungarian immigration policy has to do with the Russian president. They believe Hungary should be expelled from the EU, and in addition to EU funds, further multi-billion euro fines should be imposed on the defiant member state.
