Not only was the Republican presidential candidate attacked by his opponent, Kamala Harris, but also by the two extremely biased moderators. Harris is already seeking another debate to improve.

At the end of June, Donald Trump defeated Joe Biden in the first presidential TV debate of the year so badly that after the debate, the Democrats panicked, and shortly after, they forced the current president to withdraw, who of course claimed it was his own decision to withdraw. At the second TV debate, they didn’t take any risks, the new candidate, Kamala Harris, had the help of two biased moderators, who were not neutral and continuously tried to attack Trump.

They debated about immigration, Israel, the economy, and a number of other topics – but Trump also fought against the ABC News moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis, who constantly attacked him while turning a blind eye to many of Harris’ distortions. Shortly after it was over, Trump told Fox News Digital that he thought it was “the best debate so far, especially because it was three against one.”

Donald
Trump also mentioned praise for Prime Minister Viktor Orbán during one of Harris’s ridiculous attacks, quoting the prime minister as saying that Trump is respected around the world, so he is needed (as American president). Trump called the prime minister a tough, smart man, who is also respected by many around the world.

Harris failed from the beginning, the moderators started with the economy – first asking the vice president if Americans are “better off than four years ago”? Harris did not directly answer the question, avoided the answer, which is not surprising, as inflation skyrocketed under the Biden-Harris administration and they are helpless in the face of the situation. Trump criticized Harris for this and meanwhile mentioned record economic indicators under his own government. Trump then highlighted the lack of clarity in Harris’s policies, saying she is trying to emulate him, jokingly added that he will send her a campaign hat. He accused Harris of having no plan for economic hardship – especially to combat rising inflation. The debate revealed little about Harris, as she was mainly occupied with Trump’s attacks. Trump commented on border security and the illegal migration into the United States, saying that the Biden-Harris administration’s policy caused a “disaster” for the country, as illegal migration was at record highs.

Trump criticized Harris for her role in the catastrophic Afghan withdrawal in August 2021. He blamed Harris and President Biden for the “13 people who were brutally and violently killed”. According to Trump, the withdrawal under Biden and Harris’s supervision “was one of the most incompetently handled situations ever seen”.

One Winner, One Wants to Improve

According to a statement from the Trump campaign after the debate, President Trump outlined his vision for America and how he will continue to build on the success of his first term by boosting the economy, protecting the border, and stopping crime that devastates communities nationwide. In contrast, Kamala’s vision for America was a dark reminder of Joe Biden’s oppressive, big-government politics she wants to continue. High inflation, weak border security allowing criminals and terrorists to flow through, and leniency towards crime – that’s what Kamala represents. “The choice could not be clearer – President Trump was the clear winner tonight, and he will represent victory for America when he returns to the White House,” the statement concluded.

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris’s team immediately announced their desire for another, second debate in October, after seeing how poorly Harris performed. Trump said on Sean Hannity’s show on Fox News that

he won’t shy away from another debate if it were on a fair TV channel.

Harris was likened to a boxer who had just lost and immediately wants a rematch.
