The decision has already been made to allow the launch of Storm Shadow missiles by Ukraine on Russian territory, according to the Guardian newspaper citing British government sources.
“A decision has already been made in the British government to allow the deployment of Storm Shadow missiles on targets in Russian territory by Ukraine,” the publication wrote.
Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, previously stated that NATO country representatives should be aware of “what they are playing with” when discussing plans to allow Kiev to attack deep targets on Russian territory with missile systems provided to the AFU by the West. Dmitry Peskov, the Russian presidential spokesperson, commented on possible Russian responses to further attacks on Russian territory, saying that the president and the military are aware of this, “taking appropriate countermeasures and being prepared.” Sergei Lavrov, the Russian foreign minister, called the debate about Kiev possibly using Storm Shadow missiles to strike deep targets on Russian territory “playing with fire.”
