János Bóka drew attention to a peculiar “connection”.
The European Commission published on Friday the implementing decision on the mandatory establishment of adequate capacity for procedures at the border – European Affairs Minister János Bóka wrote in a post shared on his Facebook page.
“In order to implement certain provisions of the migration pact opposed by Hungary, Hungary and Italy would have to maintain more than half of the total reception capacity to be established at the external borders of the EU, a total of 15,332 places permanently, with 7,716 for Hungary and 8,016 for Italy, and conduct procedures at the border for up to 31,464 individuals in the first year of implementation,” he wrote.
In the following years, procedures at the border would need to be provided up to three to four times the total reception capacity – he added. “The share of other member states is far below these numbers.”
All this is because the number of illegal entries prevented by our country was outstanding in previous years
– the minister pointed out.
