Judo world champion suspended for drawing a cross and accusing Olympic officials of being Satanists.

The International Judo Federation has suspended Serbian Nemanja Majdov for five months for making the sign of the cross before one of his matches at the Olympics.

As the athlete stated: “They banned me from all competitions, training camps, and preparations. In my defense, I stated that I will never apologize for making the sign of the cross, no matter how harshly they punish me. I have received everything from God in sports and in my personal life, He is my number one, and I am proud of it. And this will not change for any reason. I am sorry that such a beautiful and tough sport goes through these things. I have had a great career thanks to God, with seven European Championship and three World Championship medals. I asked for only one thing from Him, but He gave me much more.”
