Kyiv could endanger the energy security of Hungary and Slovakia if the Russian gas supply to Europe is halted after the capture of the city of Sudzha.

Smart people in Kyiv have come up with the idea to capture the city of Sudzha, which has infrastructure for pumping gas to Europe, so that the Russian army will have to perish as it tries to regain control – summarized by former Russian deputy foreign minister Andrei Fedorov based on the latest events on the front according to The Guardian.

The Sudzha measuring station is an important part of the Russian natural gas supply from Western Siberia, which covers 3% of European gas imports through Ukrainian pipelines.
